(Reservations strongly recommended)
Calpine employees will give you a guided tour to the Geysers where you will tour one of Calpine’s geothermal power plants

10:00 – 3:00 Earth Day ongoing events
Interactive activities, crafts, demonstrations, informational booths, exhibits, giveaways, vendors, Eco Arts sculpture walk, pony rides panning for gems, solar ovens, hybrid cars, and much more!
10:00 - 3:00 Geothermal Energy
Calpine employees will be in the interactive exhibit room to answer questions on geothermal production at the Geysers.
10:00 – 3:00 Big Sulfur Creek Fish Ladder
Calpine environmental specialist Bruce Carlsen & Jody Spooner will be on hand to explain the Big Sulfur Creek Wild Steelhead Fish Ladder Project at Geysers, at the multimedia display in the foyer.
10:00 – 10:30 Joan Moss
Will perform her wonderful original and classic folk music.
10:00 – 11:00 “Birds of Lake County”
Brad Barnwell of the Audubon society will give a presentation on the common and not so common birds of the county.
10:30 – 11:00 “Vintage” Quartet
This sweet Adeline quartet will treat the crowd in the gazebo.
11:00 – 12:00 “Story of the Geysers and Air Quality”
Geysers Air Monitor Program hosts a festival of films showcasing the Geysers and air quality in the multi purpose room.
11:00 – 12:00 The Sulphurtones
The Sulphurtones will delight the crowd with acoustic rock music.
12:00 – 12:30 Rocks and Minerals of Lake County
Harry Woodworth of the Lake County Rock Hounds will be speaking on local rocks & Minerals in the foyer at the rock display.
12:00 – 1:00 John Jennings
Will delight the crowd with his original Americana music, and songs from other esoteric folk sources.
12:30 – 1:30 “Climate Project”
Scott Catamas who was trained by Al Gore, will provide the newest information regarding the science & solutions of climate change presented in the multipurpose room.
1:15 – 1:45 “Vintage” Quartets
